I'm a person who likes to feel nature. To get immersed in the woods, the sea, the moors etc. I have a ever-growing appreciation of the force of nature - the wind, rain, sun etc and I get a real sense of solace from fire, stars, walking barefoot and observing wildlife. I am fascinated by natural rhythms, the wheel of the year, Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Section and the way that animals and plants just do their thing without getting too stressed about things! We can learn a lot by just watching them!
I don't follow any particular tradition but just try and act in accordance with nature - my own as well as the universe - as much as possible. For me, the preferred way is tai chi, Zen meditation and being out in the countryside, the UK and abroad. I am open-minded and would simply like to meet someone to share experiences and find ourselves through each other and the universe. Intelligence is crucial!
By the way - the bird in my picture is one I rescued after it crash-landed on a boat I was on at the time! It's a light-mantled sooty albatross! |
