An ex full time journalist & broadcaster I keep my hand in occasionally in the media but I now work full time in mental health to empower people to lead happier lives. I've been a university guest lecturer & ran some courses.
An ex school safeguarding governor I get involved with the criminal justice system as an expert witness and to safeguard children & adults.
From a line of clairvoyants my blend of spirituality includes Druidry. I love live comedy, most of the arts and the simple pleasures and wonders of nature & the universe from the flutter of a butterfly, buzz of a bee to particle physics.
I do drive but due to the COVID Era am currently home-based. Non-smoker not into street drugs and rarely drink alcohol.

I worked as a part-time professional singer, performance poet and comic compere in the past and having trained as a playwright plan to write movies, novels and plays.
I am fond of children and often work with them, although not blessed with my own. I am long divorced. My longest relationship of 11 years was with infertile my ex husband. I have had relationships since then but I have been single for quite some time, preferring to find the right man rather than casual flings.
A kind, caring and affectionate woman, I am open to the possibility of a man unable to have a full sexual relationship.
For me it is essential that a partner is patient and loving, a person who wants to share life and make a positive difference in this challenging world, with an awareness of other realms whilst able to delight in the every day.
Fascinated by archaeology and history as well as science and the creative arts, I am always open to learning. I undertake additional post graduate training every year, attending workshops and conferences on a wide range of mental health issues.
I occasionally work to improve my French and plan to learn to play some of my small collection of musical instruments. I enjoy occasional sewing and used to make most of my own clothes. I have been looking into making tapestries and quilts as I like the idea of leaving a legacy in stitches, perhaps recording some episodes of history.
Although now in my 60's people often tell me I look younger. My long hair is still naturally raven black but I have a few silver hairs these days. I will upload a picture with a closer focus soon.
