Looking for the one, the soul-mate, someone who I can really connect with, be with, live with – and where we can be more together than either of us are apart. Synergy is what I want. I also need a partner who can connect with nature, the world as it is – seen and magickally unseen. I don’t think that there is just one person that this can be achieved with – ‘the one’ is a product of who someone is – and who you and they become together – but there needs to be a connection which this is built upon.
My path is partly my own, with a major influence and continued connection to a group with most of its members in the US, which I have been a member of for a long time. We have a small group – but even in a group each of us ultimately has to walk a personal path and seek our own connections and understanding.
I am really motivated by compassion, friendships, community, and expressing the connections that we have with each other. People need to be themselves, but we are communal social creatures who are capable of so much more together than we are apart. The same is true of partners who share goals, their effort, their dreams and their talents.
This all seems rather serious or ‘heavy’ – I am not that way really. I am generally very optimistic, work hard for my goals, and am generally quite successful at home and at work. I have a job I enjoy. I also have a good home (which is also something of a project) where I can get to the city but am also on the edge of the countryside. I like building / creating things – and I want to be able to grow a lot of my own food in the garden (having given up a couple of allotments) when the other projects will allow.
(To be open, I have joined this site because I want to contact one particular person who’s profile really seems to call out to me … but I am not foolish enough to think that the Universe plays things in a straight line – and it seems unlikely that she won’t be seeing / in contact with someone else already given that I can’t be the only person to respond this way. So, I am open to the fact that this has called me here … and to be open / go from there.)
