Jacqui's Profile Hi
I have been on a spiritual path for most of my life; although pagan I have always taken an interest in other peoples religious beliefs. I practise our beliefs alone and with others. Living in harmony with mother earth and understanding the energy and power of nature, is as important to me as it is other pagans. I really came to feel the full force of our great mother, when I lived 1100 feet above sea level and a mile from my nearest neighbour, living self-sufficiency on a 30 acre small holding, on a mountain in Wales. I grow my own vegetables and fruit bushes. But what I enjoyed most of all was the animals, I had 40 sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, a horse and of cause cats and dogs. I lived in a small stone cottage with windows that let the wind howl through them. I didn’t have electricity for years, and when it arrived, I made do with a light bulb in two rooms. I had water from a spring that came into one tap in the kitchen. I had a chemical toilet and that is the one thing given the choice that I would not want to do again; enless it was a reed bed. I feel that living this way, one has to live totally in tune with all the seasons and all the challenges mother earth brings with them.I would like to live this way again but on a small scale.
I do have a fun side to me, I have a great sense of adventure, I enjoy new experiences, and I will try most things. I like to travel but I don’t do the package holiday.
I like to recycle last year I made a sledge from an old pine bed head it’s posts, and some old selves that others had discarded, then promptly cracked two ribs when I rolled it on a steep hill, LOL. I use free cycle, e-bay and charity shops to both give and receive. I also like doing up old properties and love auctions and reclamation yards.
I enjoy cooking, baking and making my own preservers.
I live near the Devon Cornwall border, a beautiful place to live. I love walking in the wilds of Dartmoor and Bodmin moor not being fare away. I have many beaches within a short drive which are ideal for not just swimming; fossil hunting and walking but also body boarding. Having said this I would happily relocate for Mr Wright.
Before I depart to the summer land I want to learn to drum I love the energy they raise. I also want to; Know for the bit that is not so echo friendly, after spending many years, all be it some years ago, as a pillion on a motor bike, I plan to take my test a get a Harley Davison. So if you fancy going for a spin with me please do get in touch.
Bright Blessings
