My name is Yiannis. I was born and raised in sunny Athens but left when i was 17. I have been around since then but I have mostly lived in the UK. I currently live and work in Cardiff but regularly travel to London and Athens.
While I am not stricly a pagan myself, I have always been attracted by the spiritual side of life, nature and I am always eager to learn more. Sadly it is not always easy to find people who are open to such discussions.
I am both a city and nature person. Sometimes i really need the serenity of the forest / sea and some other times i need to be part of the energy and fast paced life of the big city. I love country houses and cosy fireplaces :-)
As a person, I am honest, kind towards others, very caring, tactile, sensitive, and a deep thinker. Things that rank highly in my life: personal growth, exploring (in the broder sense), taking risks without forgetting to respect my limits, being as genuine as i can, seeking genuine people, being humble, being enthusiastic, celebrating each and every day, travelling, helping, listening, going after my dreams (especially the crazy ones).
I am usually drawn towards people who are open minded, empathic, accepting, caring, unconventional, experimental and alternative (a slight craziness is also good). I love a person who smiles a lot, has a positive attitude and is curious and inquisitive as I am :-)
I am quite a restless soul with lots of dreams, ideals and questions and I don't always feel like I 'fit in'. I tend to get confused and lose my way regularly but I don't stay lost for too long. I try to experience and learn as much as I can.
I have joined this site with a very open mind and I have no expectations, only hopes of meeting someone interesting and with whom I can 'click' :-). If I end up meeting a great friend then that is lovely... if more chemistry develops then that is wonderful. Open mind :-)
