I am male and 52, though people tend to think I'm about 40; a musician and instrument maker, playing mainly flutes, sax, guitar and renaissance instruments. I've been following a Pagan pathway for many years.
Have worked in theatre and taught technical theatre. But at the moment work making hand build Kayak paddles. As a musician I play at a number of small festivals, pagan and holistic each year. I love music of all sorts, and would like to share these events with someone close.
My pathway is rich, varied and probably could be described as: eclectic shamanic hedgewitch. Though I just think of myself as Pagan. At the moment I’m learning about and fascinated by the way of Wyrd and Anglo Saxon magic. I work with all sorts of groups; Druid, Shamanic, Wiccan, Traditional and just plain Pagan. All my practice comes from trance and journeying experience and much is based in and within my music. I play landscapes and energy fields but it would take too long to explain here. My playing includes a lot of tribal and nomadic (for want of a better phrase) methods and I use this for ritual. I connect closely with the rich Earth but especially forests, woods and wild landscape. In woodlands I often melt into the hive of the forest and become part of the landscape.
I’m very fit and active, cycling 18 miles or so a day. Love to walk for hours on the sacred soil of this land. Can be a bit quiet and a bit of a hermit but also have a wild side. I like to surface at Pagan festivals and have a great time with friends and similar minded people. Most of my friends are Pagan or "alternative". I love the Goddess but being male, run with Herne as well.
At the moment I stand at a crossroads deciding where to head next in life but would like to travel the path that is shown to me with a close partner and friend to whom I can give total trust. To be honest I find this process to be somewhat scary. But have to be honest about it.
Overall I love life and have a good time though can be a bit defensive; having been hurt in the past. C'est la vie. Not rich with money but leading one hell of a full and interesting life: so grade myself as fabulously rich in spirit.
