Hmm! What to say. I'm a lifelong country dweller and lover of nature who's only just now starting to do anything 'formal' about paganism, by delving into Druidry. For many a long year I've considered myself a bit 'different' due to my love for all aspects of the natural world. It seemed that, for most of the time, solitariness was the price, and I paid it willingly.
But the world turns and times change and now with sites like this it's clear that there are lots of us out there!!
So what am I like? Tall, slim, brown hair and eyes, fit, reasonable looks (younger than my years). I am solvent but not rich and consider materialism and consumerism the scourge of the modern age; or one of them!
I would love to get back to a greener life in the depths of the countryside, growing some food, keeping some hens. I need to be close to nature and love every season in its turn. I do a lot of walking, day or night, rain or shine.
I love most of my fellow creatures, (though politicians try my patience).
I like rambling around quiet country lanes ( the first primroses are out now) visiting small market towns, prehistoric sites, country pubs occasionally. I don't smoke.
The sort of person I'd like to meet? A pagan of some description, slimmish and maybe a bit younger than me; probably a bit hippie-ish/bohemian; if you know the Edison Lighthouse song from long ago...she ain't got no money, clothes are kind of funny, hair is kind of wild and free...!!!(but it's OK if you do have some money). You might be in the south west, but don't feel you have to be.
